Auditing Courses

Audit

The audit option allows a person to enroll in a course without receiving credit. Record of this type of audit appears on an official Iliff transcript. Full-time Iliff students may audit one course each quarter without additional cost. Partners of current Iliff students may participate in the Partners in Ministry program (see below). Other persons auditing classes are charged one-half of the regular rate of tuition. For further information about audit, please contact the Office of Admissions.

Community Audit Program at the Iliff School of Theology

Partners in Ministry

Preparation for ministry involves equipping the families of students to understand and handle the many ways that seminary education and ministry impact their lives. Partners need opportunities to explore their own gifts and graces and to establish their own identities.

With permission from the Office of the Dean, partners of full-time, degree-seeking students may audit any courses - excluding 4000 level courses - with no charge. A full-time student is one who is taking eight credits or more in a given quarter. If the student is taking less than eight credits, the partner will be charged the regular audit rates. Partners who wish academic credit must apply for special student status and will be charged the regular special student tuition. For more information about this program, contact Joan VanBecelaere, Coordinator of Academic Administration.
