Degree Programs

The Iliff School of Theology offers four masters degrees and a doctoral degree program. Traditional classroom and online opportunities provide flexibility for students in accessing the Iliff experience. You decide whether a traditional classroom or online format works for you.

Graduate Certificates

Iliff offers Graduate Certificates in five areas to persons admitted either as degree candidates or special (non-degree) students. Graduate Certificates allow the pursuit of graduate theological study without commitment to a full degree program. Each certificate requires satisfactory completion of four courses (12-16 quarter credits) as outlined in the curriculum for that particular program. Since the certificate is not a degree, the credits may be applied to one of Iliff’s degree programs, if the student is accepted into the degree program. Graduate Certificates also provide degree students an opportunity to study in areas outside of their concentration or to demonstrate advanced competency. Students may also complete a Graduate Certificate through our online learning program

Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree from a fully accredited college with a minimum of a 2.75 grade point average. Applicants submit a completed application form, personal statement, and transcripts from all undergraduate or graduate institutions previously attended.

Iliff’s Graduate Certificates recognize the successful completion of a set of courses (usually four) in a particular approved concentration within the curriculum. Courses taken for a letter grade or on a pass/fail basis may be counted toward the certificate. On successful completion, the Graduate Certificate is recorded on the student’s transcript.
