Consultation and Guidance

All M.Div. and MASM students participate in a three phase program designed to promote personal and professional formation:

  • Phase I:  Psychological assessments are taken to assess fitness, competence, and readiness for ministry. Results are individually reviewed with each student by the Iliff Counseling Service.
    • Strong Interest Inventory (SII)
    • Myers-Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI)
    • California Psychological Inventory (CPI)
  • Phase II:  Students develop a Phase II plan based on one of four options that address their personal and professional growth needs. Phase II plans must be approved by the Iliff Counseling Service prior to beginning Phase II.
    • Counseling
    • C&G Workshops
    • Spiritual Formation
    • Personalized Program
  • Phase III:  Students implement and complete the plan they created in Phase II and provide written documentation of their experience.
