Personal and Professional Formation (OMS)

The Office of Ministry Studies oversees the Personal and Professional Formation dimensions of Iliff’s two professional master’s degree programs, the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and the Master of Arts in Specialized Ministry (MASM). Students pursuing either of these degrees are typically preparing for some type of professional ministry in the church or agency setting, and in conjunction with their religious tradition. While decisions about ordination or other authorization for ministry are the purview of denominations and/or credentialing bodies, M. Div. and MASM students address Personal and Professional Formation (PPF) as a part of their degree program, in addition to course work in world religions, Bible, theology, history and culture, and religious leadership.
