Practica

• Practica are two hour workshops that address specific aspects of the practice of ministry that supplement curricular courses.
• Topics include:
  • interviewing skills
  • “getting started in your first parish”
  • community outreach
  • finances

Clinical Pastoral Education

• Students in the Anglican Studies Program or the MASM in pastoral care fulfill advanced field education requirements through Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE). For other M. Div. and MASM students, CPE is an additional option that is recommended by many denominations.
• Intensive group interaction with peers and leaders
• Individual reflection and discernment regarding call, gifts and limitations
• Students work in a hospital or community setting.
