March 31 – April 1, Celtic Resurgence: The Sacred Earth
Friday, March 31 (6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.)
The story of Celtic spirituality in the Western Isles of Scotland will be told through word, music, and prayer. It is the tale of an ancient spiritual tradition that celebrated the sacredness of the earth, and how that tradition was pushed to the ground during the 19th-century Highland Clearances.
Saturday, April 1 (9:00 a.m. – Noon)
Through the life and writings of the Celtic-American John Muir, we will look at the resurgence of Celtic spirituality in the beginnings of modern ecological consciousness and action.

We will consider the renascence of themes of the divine feminine in the writings of the 20th-century French-Celtic teacher Pierre Teilhard de Chardin.
