Keep Animals Off Drugs Campaign Kick-Off
Description: In keeping with the Iliff Justice & Peace Program’s focus on food and environmental issues, we invite you to consider attending KEEP ANIMALS OFF DRUGS CAMPAIGN KICK-OFF MEETING — a local event sponsored by Food & Water Watch. Details of the event (as communicated by campaign organizer Cait De Mott Grady) are listed below. The campaign kick-off will help you find out how you can help fight the corporate abuse of public health. Food & Water Watch is holding this kickoff event to mark the beginning of its Denver food justice campaign.
We have a chance to end the abuse of antibiotics on factory farms and stop the spread of antibiotic resistant bacteria. For too long, Big Agriculture has gotten away with prioritizing profit over public health. We need a public health champion and co-sponsor for the Preventing Antibiotic Resistance Act, which would end the overuse of antibiotics in livestock feed, and safeguard their effectiveness in keeping our families healthy.
Please join us at our campaign kick-off meeting in The Highlands. Find out more about the campaign and what you can do to help. With your support, we can keep our food and families safe!
