Iliff on the Road: Denver PrideFest 2014

Description: Iliff will be hosting a booth at Denver PrideFest 2014.

Produced by the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center of Colorado (The Center), Denver PrideFest is now the third largest pride festival and seventh largest pride parade in the United States.

Denver PrideFest takes place in downtown Civic Center Park, featuring the CoorsLight PrideFest Parade, the Smirnoff DanceWorld, the Peligroso Latin Stage with cultural programming, and the Center Stage with live entertainment.The festival hosts 325,000 guests annually and also features more than 250 vendor booths with arts, crafts, food and more. We provide a VIP area with food and drinks for sponsors and contributors to enjoy. There’s also a family area, youth alley, and a transgender resource area.

The mission of Denver PrideFest is to create a fun, safe and empowering space to celebrate and promote the heritage and culture of the LGBT and allied community in Colorado.

Date: June 21, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and June 22, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

The CoorsLight PrideFest Parade will kick off at 9:30am on Sunday, June 22

Iliff on the Road: UM Rocky Mtn. Annual Conference, Pueblo, CO

June 19 - June 22, 2014

Description: Join the Iliff community at the 2014 Rocky Mountain United Methodist Annual Conference, “Healing Relationships,” in Pueblo. Iliff Admissions representatives are hosting a table and welcome you to visit us and get the latest news from Iliff.

While pre-registration is required, some sessions are open to the public. See schedule. Tom Wolfe, Iliff president will be the featured speaker at the Iliff Alumni and Friends Luncheon, Thursday, June 19, 12-2 p.m. Preregistration is required.

This year’s worship preachers are Rev. Paul Kottke (Iliff alum) and Rev. Marvin Vose. To read biographies of the worship preachers, download the PDF.
