Continuing education opportunities:

  • Spiritually integrated continuing education (SPICE) at Iliff – helps medical and behavioral health care providers address the spiritual dimension of the person with their patients and clients, and provides theologically-sophisticated continuing education for spiritual care providers.   • ASCEND training – is a one-week experiential training program that equips behavioral health care and spiritual care providers to offer spiritually integrated care and counseling. Find more information here. Contact Kelly Arora for more information.
  • The Iliff Renewal conference – is a yearly multi-day conference providing space to renew the individual, theology, academy, nation and world. For more information contact the Office of Institutional Advancement, Caran Ware Joseph.
  • Graduate Certificates – a wide range of graduate certificates are offered. Course rates apply.
  • On-campus lectures and presentations – Iliff hosts a number of events throughout the year. Our events calendar has a complete listing. Many events are free or at low cost.
  • Immersion Experiences – Throughout the academic year, immersion courses may be offered. Past experiences include those on the Rosebud Indian Reservation, along the U.S./Mexico border, and to Zimbabwe/South Africa. Course rates and special fees apply.
  • Courses – can be taken without entering into a degree or certificate program. Courses are available online, in the classroom, and in hybrid formats. Course rates apply.
  • Weekend Learning – A number of weekend praxis seminars are available throughout the year focused on targeted issues. Examples of past classes include ecological justice, leading weddings, prayer, spiritual struggles, and reproductive justice. Weekend learner fees apply ($100 per credit hour).
  • Ring Lake Ranch – Located in a beautiful mountain setting in Dubois, Wyoming, Ring Lake Ranch offers week long courses throughout the summer – some led by Iliff faculty. Continuing education units (CEU’s) are available through Iliff upon request. CEU fees apply.
