Description: The Iliff Leadership Conference “Religion and Globalization: A More Excellent Way” offers a variety of learning opportunities for clergy and laity. This year’s featured speaker is Dr. Joycelyn Elders, former U.S. surgeon general. Speakers and workshop leaders include: Dr. John Kinney, president, Association of Theological Schools; Swanee Hunt, former ambassador to Austria; Polly Baca, executive director, LARASA; Rev. Dr. Chester Jones, president, Conference Council on Ministries and chairperson, Conference Commission on Religion and Race, UMC; Rev. Terrance Carroll, Colorado state representative, and many others.
