Coming October 11-14, 2017
Iliff offers access to our courses in a wide variety of schedule and delivery options. In addition to daytime, evening, weekend, and summer intensive classes on campus, we also offer classes that meet online and hybrid (incorporating both face-to-face and online components). For the face-to-face components of hybrid classes, students come to campus for Gathering Days.
Gathering Days are when students enrolled in Iliff’s distance education programs travel to Denver to attend their courses. Gathering Days occur three times a year during 5th week of each quarter (October, February, April). It is a special time for the Iliff community to be together for academics and fellowship for meals, classes, social events, guest speakers, prayer and worship. By gathering on the beautiful Iliff campus, there are distinctive opportunities for meaningful, engaging, and transforming conversations. The Gathering Days are a long-standing tradition, started in 2010 at the launch the JOURNEY MDiv program. As early as 2007, when Iliff started offering online courses, we have been a leader in progressive theological distance education.
In addition to being together on the Iliff campus, students appreciate traveling to Denver – a beautiful and vibrant city with more than 300 days of sunshine a year offering a multitude of cultural, educational, and outdoor opportunities.
