Korbel Lecture Series: Hector Avalos, “Religion as a Scarce Resource”

Description: The Korbel Lecture Series presents Hector Avalos, “Religion as a Scarce Resource,” as a part of the fall program series designed to engage, foster critical thought and teach listening and dialogue techniques.
Hector Avalos is a professor of Religious Studies at Iowa State University and the author of several books about religion. Edward P. Antonio, associate dean of Diversities, Iliff School of Theology, will join Avalos in this discussion.
Free and open to the public; Iliff is a proud presenting sponsor of the 2012-2013 Korbel Lecture Series. The series will feature timely discussions on a host of topics related to religion.

Ministry Praxis: Developing Taize Worship

Description: Join us for a weekend Ministry Praxis: Developing Taize Worship led by Rev. Brad Berglund. The praxis will explore the development of the Taize style of worship in your sacred community. The course is open to weekend learners. Registration and fees apply.
