Degree Programs
Iliff offers five masters degrees and a joint University of Denver/Iliff doctoral degree program. Traditional classroom and online opportunities provide flexibility for students in accessing the Iliff experience. You decide whether a traditional classroom or online format works for you. Master Degrees
- The Master of Divinity (M.Div.) is designed primarily for those seeking ordination.
- The Master of Arts (M.A.) is designed for those students who plan to go on to Ph.D. studies.
- The Master of Arts in Pastoral and Spiritual Care for Military Chaplains (MAPSC) is a professional degree that draws on courses from across the theological curriculum and allows for specialization. Final credits and summative project can be focused on post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in the military.
- The Master of Arts in Specialized Ministry (M.A.S.M.) may be focused in Justice and Peace Studies, Military Chaplaincy, Pastoral Care, or Religious Leadership and can be customized for those pursuing the Order of the Deacon in the United Methodist Church or forms of lay ministry.
- The Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.) is designed for those who simply want to explore various areas of theological studies.
Iliff also offers a Justice and Peace Studies Concentration within the M.Div. and M.A.S.M. degree programs.
For students wishing to pursue licensing, Iliff offers the opportunity to work concurrently with the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver to earn a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree.
- Coming Soon! The Master of Arts in Social Change (M.A.S.C.) will provide courses to assist students in analyzing and responding to social justice issues in local and international contexts.
Doctoral Degree
- The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Religious and Theological Studies is offered jointly with the University of Denver.
