Colleen Abdoulah to Speak at Iliff’s Commencement

COLLEEN ABDOULAH TO SERVE AS ILIFF’S COMMENCEMENT SPEAKER
(DENVER) – Colleen Abdoulah, chief executive officer and chairperson of the board of WOW!, an Internet, cable and phone provider, will present The Iliff School of Theology’s commencement address, June 3, 10 a.m., Saint John’s Episcopal Cathedral, 1350 Washington Street, Denver.
Abdoulah, an ardent voice for those who have been marginalized, serves as chairperson of the board for the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center, a non-profit advocacy group for abused and neglected children, and as a board member for the Women’s College of the University of Denver. She is also an active supporter of the Women’s Global Empowerment Fund, a non-profit organization that reaches poor and underserved women in Uganda through micro-finance loans and education programs.
The Iliff School of Theology is a graduate theological school related to the United Methodist Church, serving more than 38 different faith traditions. Founded in 1892, the seminary provides several degree programs, including a joint Ph.D. program with the University of Denver.
