EXPANDED CLASS OFFERINGS CREATE FLEXIBLE OPTIONS FOR BUSY STUDENTS
DENVER – The Iliff School of Theology is offering an expanded array of online, evening and weekend classes for students seeking convenient schedules for their increasingly busy lives.
Online courses bring Iliff directly to your home, office or church, reducing the time and expense of commuting. Classes include: “Youth Ministries,” “United Methodist Doctrine,” “Life and Times of Jesus,” “United Methodist Polity,” and “Self-Care and Healthy Boundaries.” Evening options include “Introduction to Sacred Dance,” “Writing Skills for Theological Education,” “Ethical Analysis and Advocacy,” “Justice & Peace Struggles: Issues of the Global Economy,” and “Hebrew Bible I.” Weekend classes, meeting on Friday afternoons and Saturdays, include “Justice & Peace Praxis: Politics and Religion in an Election Year” and “Ministry Praxis Seminar: When Someone Dies: Leading Funerals.”

The Iliff School of Theology is a graduate theological school of the United Methodist Church, serving more than 38 different faith traditions. Founded in 1892, the seminary provides several degree programs, including a joint Ph.D. program with the University of Denver.
