The Iliff School of Theology is seeking comments from the public in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional and specialized accrediting agencies.

Iliff will undergo a comprehensive evaluation visit April 21-23, 2008, by a joint team representing the Commission on Accreditation of the Association of Theological Schools of the United States and Canada and The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Iliff was first accredited by ATS in 1936, and by the North Central Association in 1972, and has maintained accreditation without interruption. The school was last reviewed in 1998.

In preparation for the upcoming visit, the public is invited to submit comments regarding Iliff’s request for reaccreditation. Comments may be sent to:

Comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution or its academic programs. Comments must in writing and signed, and should include the name, address, and telephone number of the person providing the comments. Comments cannot be treated as confidential.

All comments must be received by March 15, 2008.

The Iliff School of Theology is a graduate theological school of the United Methodist Church, serving more than 38 different faith traditions. Founded in 1892, the seminary provides several degree programs, including a joint Ph.D. program with the University of Denver.
