SERIES 1 : PUBLICATIONS Box 1 Contents Class Contents Publications Includes papers delivered as lectures at Faculty Colloquium and later published in The Iliff Review,/i>. Also includes a translation of a bibliography by Francisco Rejon. SERIES 2 : UPUBLISHED WORKS Box 1 Contents Class Contents Unpublished Works Includes a variety of genres: lectures, papers, poetry, and faculty lectures. SERIES 3 : COURSES Box 1 Contents Class Contents Courses Includes syllabi (some including class handouts, bibliographies, and corrections), and miscellaneous papers. Miscellaneous papers include a bibliography, comprehensive exam, proposal, and student “simulation game.” SERIES 4 : RESEARCH PROJECT Box 1 Contents Class Contents Courses The eight-year project (with H. Edward Everding and Mary Wilcox) studied a developmental interpretation theory in a longitudinal study using a random sample of entering/exiting Iliff students from three generations. The study investigated the relationship between students’ cognitive structural development and interpretive styles, to discover how adults interpret meaning, symbols, texts, etc. Snelling later compared results with cross-cultural studies in Mexico, China, Korea, and Zimbabwe, further to validate findings among comparable sample student seminarian groups in those countries.
