During times of crisis, we often seek out materials to help us understand and deal with the issues at play. To help in that effort, Iliff is offering this space to collect some of what our incredible faculty have to offer on on-going issues and structural injustice. Thank you to our dean Rev. Dr. Boyung Lee and Betsy Lay for sponsoring and coordinating this effort as part of a larger project by our whole leadership team.

This page will continue to grow, change, re-organize, and develop as our faculty continue to write and respond, so be sure to check back. We’ll update our social media (Facebook, Twitter, especially) when this happens. Also, feel free to share this page on your social media. We want to help you put quality material in your social feeds.

Offerings from our Faculty

Current Issue Highlight: Pastoral Theology and Catastrophic Disaster (download text), by Larry Kent Graham, as shared by Carrie Doehring:

In my shock and sorrow over the shooting in Las Vegas, I returned to this article Larry Graham wrote for the Society for Pastoral Theology when we met in Denver in 2006 and remembered the Columbine school shooting.

A note about posting PDFs: We’ve found that many social media sites, including Facebook, often do not allow PDFs to post correctly. To help with that, every PDF here has two links 1) the link on the title to a page that you can post to your social media 2) the direct “download text” link for you to read the material. We hope this helps in your reading and sharing.
