ILIFF OFFERS RICH LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES IN FALL QUARTER 2012
— Classes Begin Sept. 10 —
DENVER – Fall Quarter offers a host of academic opportunities at Iliff School of Theology (Iliff). The first eight-week session of the 2012 – 2013 Academic Year begins Sept. 10. To meet students’ busy lives, courses are offered mornings, afternoons and evenings; online hybrid programs also are available.
The Fall Program includes such courses as Hebrew Bible I, Embodied Ministries: “Sacred Dance,” “Intro to Islam,” “Foundations of Social Change,” “Religions in the World,” and “The Impact of War on Families.”
Fall Praxis courses offered on weekends include:
September “Justice & Peace Praxis: Labor Justice and Job Recovery”
1 – 4:30 p.m., September 21; 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., September 22
October “Ministry Praxis: Arts and the Art of Ministry” 1 – 4:30 p.m., October 19; 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., October 20
November “Developing Taize Worship” 1 – 4:30 p.m., November 2; 9 – 4:30 p.m., November 3
The Iliff School of Theology is a graduate theological school related to the United Methodist Church, serving more than 38 different faith traditions. Founded in 1892, the school provides several degree programs, including a Joint Ph.D. Program with the University of Denver.
