Iliff Welcomes New Board Members

(DENVER) – The Iliff School of Theology (Iliff) elected 11 new members to its Board of Trustees at their October meeting.

“We are excited to have these talented members of the business, religious, and educational communities join our Board,” said Thomas V. Wolfe, president and chief executive officer. “The expertise of these individuals will help us to better serve our students and realize the full potential of our mission.”

Joining Iliff’s Board of Trustees are:

  • Dennis Baldwin, former manager, Institutional Office, Merrill Lynch & Company. Baldwin is a member of the Four Mile House Board of Directors. He is a past trustee of Planned Parenthood and the American Heart Association.
  • Greg Baldwin*, former chairman and chief executive officer, Baxa Corporation. He is a former trustee of Denver Academy.
  • Tom Craine, former chief operations officer, YMCA of the USA. Craine is a past president of the YMCA of Metro Denver and former vice president of institutional advancement at Iliff.
  • Andy Folkerth, partner, Holland & Hart, LLP. Folkerth is an active member, serving in leadership roles, of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church and in the Episcopal Diocese of Colorado. He has also served in alumni leadership roles for Kenyon College and participates in Holland & Hart’s various charitable and educational activities, such as “Lawyers in the Classroom.”
  • David Furgason, attorney, Dufford and Brown. Furgason is a past president and trustee of the Denver Bar Association and former member of the Board of Governors of the Colorado Bar Association.
  • Dave Kearsley, attorney and founder, Powderhorn Wealth Management.
  • Ben Lewis, former president, Colorado National Bank of Aurora. Lewis served as executive director of the Aurora Chamber of Commerce and most recently as a director of Mile High United Way.
  • Adrian Miller, executive director, Colorado Council of Churches. Miller was previously an associate at Holmes, Robert & Owen and is the author of “Soul Food.”
  • Brian Mintern, owner and investment manager, Norton-Barkley Asset Management.
  • Anita Sanborn, president, Colorado Episcopal Foundation. Sanborn served as executive director of the Alzheimer’s Association, Rocky Mountain Chapter and has been actively engaged with the American Friends of the Episcopal Church of Sudan, has traveled to the Sudans frequently, and is an advocate for the Sudanese diaspora.
  • Rev. Robert O’Neill, bishop, Episcopal Diocese of Colorado.

The Iliff School of Theology is a graduate theological school related to the United Methodist Church, serving more than 38 different faith traditions. Founded in 1892, the school provides several degree programs, including a Joint Ph.D. Program with the University of Denver.
