Iliff School of Theology joins all the peoples of faith who deplore the hate crime perpetrated today against Muslims at prayer in New Zealand. We extend our concern to Muslims in our own community who may be concerned for safety in the face of white supremacist rhetoric and violence. We recommit ourselves to creating and living in beloved community with the many rich traditions of faith found among the peoples of our one fragile earth.

The Colorado Muslim Society is hosting a community gathering at 6 p.m. Saturday (March 16) at the Masjid Abu Bakr, 2017 South Parker Road to show solidarity with the New Zealand mosques and to call for peace.
