Brian Mooney has been an Iliff Trustee since August of 2017 and serves as Chair of the Business Affairs Committee for the Board of Trustees. Mr. Mooney is actively engaged as an Independent Board Member and Advisor to multiple companies, public and private, across the United States. Mr. Mooney previously served in a variety of executive roles within the FINTECH community including CFO and President of First Data Merchant Services (now a part of FISERV), CEO of Bank of America Merchant Services (BAMS), and CEO of Merchant Customer Exchange (MCX). In addition, Mr. Mooney served as University Controller for the University of Colorado, encompassing the four-campus system across the State of Colorado. Mr. Mooney also has 13 years of experience with the professional services firm Ernst & Young and is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder. Mr. Mooney has passion for working towards a safer and more just world for all communities and is actively working with the EcoJustice Center at Iliff to highlight challenges related to ecological issues for displaced and marginalized communities.
