The coronavirus pandemic has significantly disrupted our day-to-day lives. In one way or another, we have all been touched by this pandemic, No doubt, it will leave an unimaginable impact on how we consume, how we learn, how we work, and how we socialize and communicate.

To have a deep understanding on the emerging human landscape when we emerge from this crisis, this course in fall by Professor Miguel De La Torre provides a glimpse of our world from an ethical and moral lens.

“This self-paced course will wrestle with the importance of maintaining a moral compass during crisis and an ethical vision as a new reality is constructed. Special attention will be given to how not all suffer equally, and the role racism, classism, and sexism during national emergencies. Finally, the course would assist the student in finding their own ethical voice during a time of hopelessness and desperation.”
