George A. Sissel is retired as Chairman and CEO of Ball Corporation, and has served as chair or member of several boards of trustees in the Denver area since 1998. For 25 years prior to that, George and his family were with Ball in the community of Muncie, Indiana. In Denver George’s main interests have been in education and youth and community service, being on the boards of United Way, the Denver School of Science and Technology and the Denver Area Council of the Boy Scouts. In the early 2000’s he was Chair of the University of Colorado Foundation and of the Colorado Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in downtown Denver. He has been on the Board of Trustees of Iliff for approximately ten years, serving on various committees and briefly as Chair in 2019.
