IT HAS BEEN A YEAR LIKE NO OTHER IN OUR LIFETIME
With COVID-19 spreading across the world and no end in sight, the Iliff building has been closed (since March), our colleagues have switched to working remotely, all our classes are 100% online, several annual events have been held virtually, and Zoom calls are now a way of life.
Throughout these challenging months, Iliff stayed on track in ensuring that students completed their classes on time, and commencement and convocation ceremonies, Dean’s Café, open houses, and community gatherings happened virtually without any technical glitch. Colleagues have also stepped up in meeting and collaborating on Zoom calls to ensure that the daily operations continue to operate smoothly.
Despite the monumental disruptions caused by the novel coronavirus, we ended the academic year with the same momentum as we started – We are filled with excitement and enthusiasm to seize the emerging opportunities as we evolve as an institution of higher education.
A word of thanks to the Futures Planning Committee members, the Board of Trustee members, students, faculty, staff, and the market research consultant Corona Insights for coming together as a community for the past 17 months in creating a clear path forward in reimagining Iliff’s future.
“Iliff is creating a new expansive set of offerings that are broadly accessible to an ever-expanding community of learners and focused on engaging the moral discourse in the context of multiple cultural constructions of human meaning.”
